The Muharram is the first month of the Islamic calendar
based on a lunar calendar.Muslim People may do fast during
the Muharram days and the 10th day of Muharram is the Day
of Ashura.Muharram is without doubt one of the prestigious
competition of Muslim.Muharram is basically the muslim festivals which always comes in the months of November and December only. Muharram (Arabic: المحرّم) is the first month of the Islamic calendar. It is one of the four sacred months of the year. Since the Islamic calendar is a lunar calendar, Muharram moves from year to year when compared with the Gregorian calendar. Some Muslims fast during these days. The tenth day of Muharram is the Day of Ashura, which to Shia Muslims is part of the Mourning of Muharram. Azadari procession carried out by Shia Muslims in Indian city of Hardoi on the Day of Ashura.
